Navigation in space


Today in science class we are working on learning about navigation in space and the teacher gave us some questions that we needed to answer and put on our blog. 

 The first question is" What is a solar system"? My Answer to what a solar system is, A solar system is The world and all of the planets above it are all rotating (This is what I believe a solar system is). 

 Question number 2 is: what is the milky way an example of? My answer to that question is that a milky way is billions of solar systems all in one area.

 Question number 3 is: What is a star? My answer is a star is a really big ball of Gas and it produces heaps of heat to heat up heaps of air and it also produces heaps of light, They are in space and really big and shining but when you look up into the sky and see them at night they look very small.

Question number 4 is what is a Nebula my answer to what a nebula is, is that it is a giant cloud of dust and gas in space.

Question number 5 is how does a star die? My answer is nuclear gas is exhausted most of the massive stars blow up and die.


question number 6 is , Is there an up and down in space? My answer is no there is not because of the gravity you will just stay down.

Question number 7 is,  How  can stars be used to navigate. My answer is that astronauts have got something special to keep the stars navigated.
