Fantastic Mr Fox
Today in class we were working on novel study where we had to read chapters 7-9 and then answer some questions in full sentences on our blog.
1. How does Roald Dahl make us dislike farmers?
Because the farmer tried to kill the fox.
2.Why does he encourage the readers to like the foxes and dislike the farmers.
Because the Farmers are quite rude and dislike the foxes.
3.Why does Roald Dahl call the Tractors"Murderous brutal looking monsters"?
Because they look different to other things and I think that he doesn't like them.
4.What is the race who is competing?
The 3 Farmers
5.What happened to the hill? why are the farmers so determined to get to the foxes?
Because the foxes always steal food from there farms.
6.What do you feel about the foxes? How does the author make you feel like this?Why does he do this?
He makes me think that the foxes are okay they are just trying to get food to feed his family,I reckon that the foxes should not be harmed because they are trying to catch there food.
7.The three farmers all swear a solemn Oath. What does this mean?Have you ever made a promise to some and has some one every made a promise to you?
A Solemn Oath means a promise, Yes I have made a promise to someone before,Yes someone has made a promise to me before.
8.What was Mr foxes plan?
His plan was to go to one of the farms and get some dinner for his family.
9.Are you enjoying this story so far? What has been your favourite part?
Yes I have enjoyed this story so far, Finding out about the foxes home.
