Hurumanu 1
In class throughout the past week or two we have different groups for Hurumanu 1. The groups are called mahinga kai , Tangatua whenua and Te tiriti o waitangi we change groups every week last week I was in I am in the group called Mahinga Kai. In the groups We had to read a few books about what ever our groups were reading. We had to answer some questions about the story and the treaty on a google slide that the teacher had made and then we had to make our own DLO ( Digital Learning Object). I made a DLO to share with you guys here it is:
Hey Lacie,
ReplyDeleteGreat to see that you are continuing with your learning at home. I really appreciate the time you took to explain what the DLO was going to be about. That helped me to know what you were answering questions to. To make this even better you could go further to explain your answers. For example on slide 2 the question where does he find food - you could say on page ?? the book explains that the food he got came from the forest. That would help people to check up on where the information came from. 'Living off the land' often means that people get their food from the land that they live on rather than buying it from a supermarket. I haven't read the book, but I wonder if that is what Karl also did? Do you know anyone who gets most of their food from their own land rather than a shop?
Look forward to hearing from you,
Miss Morgan

ReplyDeleteWell done on completing a DLO about Mahinga Kai. I agree with Miss Morgan that it would be great if you could further explain your answers. For example, Karl also grows lots of his food and he also fishes for kai.
Keep up the great work.
