Summer learning Journey day 2 activitiy 3

The great summer learning Journey

Today I am doing the summer learning journey. I am doing yesterday's last activity and then I will be moving on to today's activities. I have been enjoying doing the Summer Learning Journey.

For this activity, we would like to hear about a time when you, or someone you know, was brave like Sully.
On your blog, recount a time when you (or someone else you know) did something brave.

I am going to recount this now.
I was going on an airplane for my second time. I went on an airplane when was 2 but I was little so I was not worrying. Now I am getting older I am afraid of heights. I was about 7 when this day happened. I was going on an airplane up north to wellington and I was excited and nervous because I heard that there was a plane crash in the USA not long before I was going on a plane. I thought we might of crashed but luckily we didn't I enjoy planes now unless we are taking off our landing.

My next step is to recount more.
Is there anything you think I could do to improve my blog post?

  1. Kia ora Lacie,

Well done on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity! You sure have been busy. :)

Flying can be a little bit nerve wracking, can't it? Especially to a place like Windy Wellington. I used to live in Wellington and have flown in and out of that airport lots of times so I can understand why you aren't so keen on the landing. I'm glad you enjoy flying now though. :)
What did you do while you were in Wellington?

    Bye for now,

    Mikey
