Te Ara Takitini Names Assessment

In class, we have been working on learning the classroom name meanings.  We had to move the meanings to match the names.
Here is my copy.
My next step is to be able to know every name and its meaning in the school.

My information came from our learning site resources that Miss Waho created.

How do you think you are going with knowing what the names are and what they mean?

That's a great idea. I also think if we talk about them more and keep referring to them, we will get better and better. Maybe I should print out the slide with the explanations and we could have them displayed in our learning space.

This is a great blog post because it's helping some people to learn maori. Next time you could try and do one for the meaning of the junior hub. Do you like maori? Do you think you'll do better next time?
    Bye ~ Kirsty
