Today is a learning from home day so we have some work to finish off from some of our classes I am doing my music work, we had to answer some of questions that Miss Bancroft had posted on her teaching site .

1.How is 1940s music different to music now

Music is different because the instruments and the different types of Genres.

2.What have you learnt about brass instruments

I have learnt that Brass instruments are things that you blow into.

3.What are you enjoying in music?

I enjoy the different things that we are learning and the different instrument families and decades we have been working on.

 Artificial intelligence

Today in Wananga we are working on STEAM kete,I chose to work on artificial intelligence,

How will artificial intelligence look in 2050?

It will look like robots can read your mind and  then there will be robots that can  find your deivice or anything that you have lost.

 Brass Instruments

In class over the past little while we have been looking at Brass instruments we had to make a DLO(Digital learning objective) with some different brass instruments on it and then a description about it I did five different brass instruments.

 Needs Vs Wants

Today in class we were working on Needs and Wants a need is something you need to survive and a want is something you can live without but you want it I madde a poster here it is:

You need water to drink so that your immune system stays cleans.

You need food to eat so you dont die from starvation

You need medication if you are unwell to make you better

You need fresh air so that you can breath in it

You need clothes so that you have something to wear and keep warm

you need shelter to stay warm and dry

You want a TV so that you can watch your favorite programs 

You want a Cell phone so that you can talk to your friends and family

You want social media so you have something to scroll thru in your spare time

You want a Pet so you have something to cuddle with and spend time with each over

You want a PlayStation so that you can play video games and become a nerd

You want lollies so that you have something sweet to eat instead of  fruit and vegetables.

You want airpods so that you dont need to use the old headphones

 CARR VALUES

Today in class we had to highlight some things on a piece of paper showing what we do in class to make sure that we are using Our Carr Values (Commitment ,Achievement ,Respect and Resilience)  and then we had to make a blogpost saying what we do out of all 4 of those values and say how you show these values and then you had to use 2  that you dont do and then say what you can do to show those values.

1.In the right place at the right time, I am in the right place at the right because I always try to make it on time to class and make sure that I am there when I am supposed to be.

2.Use Positive thoughtful and helpful comments on blog, I do that when I am commenting on blogs so that it can give the people that I am commenting on blog some good feedback and things to improve on.

3. Report any problems on line I do that so the teachers or an adult are aware of what happened.

4.Put rubbish in the appropriate bin I put the rubbish into the right bin so that it is easier for the people who deal with the bins and also not littering.

1. I need to challenge myself more, By doing more work then I can do and then not get distracted by talking to my friends.

2.Remain Focus, I need to be able to stay focused by working with people that wont distract me.
